Just after graduation I left for southern India. I volunteered for six months in a small village working in a school. There I found a special corner of the world that bewitched me.
On my return after a specialisation in development cooperation, I founded YearOut.

Since then, listening to the stories of all the volunteers who have left, I have never stopped considering volunteering abroad as the most beautiful experience one can have.
