A LITTLE MORE ABOUT LORENZO

“I came across Yearout during a challenging period of my life, and eager for a change, I set off for Nepal, filled with expectations tied to my desire to do good. However, I didn’t imagine that an experience so focused on giving to others would completely transform my life—especially because everything I gave came back to me, and much more. That’s what those young monks did with their wisdom.

A year later, I set off again, this time for a project in Costa Rica centered on protecting sea turtles, perfectly aligned with my university studies. Working closely with nature, safeguarding a rare phenomenon like the hatching of turtle eggs, deepened my love for our planet, which we must absolutely protect and cherish.

Costa Rica ignited in me the desire to explore both the world and myself. So, I convinced my best friends, Luca and Matteo, to join me, and we embarked on one of the most touching experiences of my life, in Barangay Libas, in the Pangasinan region of the Philippines. This new volunteering experience and that small community full of love and wonderful people once again changed my life.”
